Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

Blogging

Talking to a friend the other day, we came up on the topic of blogging. A blog is really a diary isn't it, a collection of thoughts put down in paragraphs to be read in restrospect. Could be of events, memories, anything. While traditionally diaries are private, it's not so with blogs. Short for web logs, it's on the net to be read by anyone who visits the site. You can limit the blog to your own circle of friends but when you put it up for everyone to read, it stops being a private journal, especially when you allow comments by other people posted on the site as well. It becomes a public forum and to an extent, a forum for debate. I'm on the belief that when you put something out on public, you open yourself to input and criticism. Hell my brothers make fun of me everyday. If you don't like being criticized on your opinion or on how you present your opinion, why put them out in the first place?

It'd be ironically funny if I disallow comments on this entry and shut down my tag board for a week LOL.

I do that to my blog sometime. Locked it for personal viewing or some friends only. That's why you can't see 'those' posts unless you use A-chan. ~_^
