The Dream
Almost forgot the most important aspect of the Olympics. The Dream with Roy and H.G. This Olympics-exclusive talk show is da bomb! Best and funniest duo ever to do a sports talk show or any talk show for that matter. They used to do a regular talk show on state owned ABC network but it got canceled several years ago. First appeared during the Sydney Olympics, they brought The Dream to Salt Lake City, Utah for the 2002 Winter Olympics and once again proved a hit with the athletes, fans and organizers. A shame that they won't be bringing their mascot, Fatso, the fat-assed wombat to Athens. The Fatso doll was more coveted than any medal given throughout the games.
The Dream is the only thing I'm looking forward to watching in terms of Olympics events over the next two and a half weeks. Maybe I'll tape it this time. I don't think there was a highlights DVD put out for the show.
