Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

you eight limbed freak!!

hmm.. nothing much happened last weekend but i remember getting the crap beaten out of me by doc ock. goddamn scientist. took me about 11 hours total to get to the final stage of spiderman 2 on the gamecube only to get pinballed over and over again by that senile scientist. maybe it's just my age showing but it's damn hard to finish that last chapter! you gotta go from the oscorp building to his shack in only 52 seconds with barely any tall enough buildings to swing from. After about 10 or 15 tries, i finally got there and if that wasn't frustrating enough, i gotta turn off 8 switches in unbelievable places inside the shack. It's made up of two levels with a huge fusion reactor right in the middle so you gotta jump from edge to edge while at the same time avoiding the pulsating wave from the reactor that's ready to knock your senses out. If you've seen spiderman 2 the movie, or better yet the game on PS2 or GC, you know what i'm talking about.

6 of them were easy enough but the other two just had to be on top of the shack and the very bottom and if you're not careful, you'll end up in the murky waters of the Hudson River. good thing the game has unlimited continues. that's the easy part. getting doc ock's tentacles to stick down to the ground is hell. if you can't get them to stick, you can't get to the doc. this part got me frustrated enough i handed over the game to my bro who took quite a few tries to finally beat the damn doc.

I suppose it's just in the mind. I've been playing the game for over five hours straight and probably couldn't wait to get it over with. He on the other hand hadn't touched the game since saturday. Now all that's left is to really finish the game by finding all the extra stuff and collecting as many points on offer.
