Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

Typical

Everyone in the office got an email last Monday saying there will be an Apple training session from 9:00-11:00 on Friday, April 7 2006. No further info was given. For four days we're forced to discuss, speculate, and rumorize about who and what to expect (not really, most ppl couldn't care less).

Today's Friday. It's 11:30. No training so far. Our Business Dev Manager (who apparently may be the guy giving the presentation) is right now sitting in front of his iBook typing stuff. He set up his gear about an hour and a half ago but only just came back about 10 minutes ago. Even worse, when he set it up, the projector… erm, projected an image of dum, dum, daaaaaah…

Presentation with PowerPoint.

Someone kill this guy.

I had to go through a Death by PowerPoint assassination yesterday morning. Not sure if I can take another one in under 24 hours.

edit - 2:47pm
Looks like I'm saved from Death by PowerPoint for at least another 3 days since Monday is public holiday. The training was canceled today, no reason given, it just didn't happen and time flew by.

For a girl
The problem lies not with PowerPoint but with the people who use them. Here we have a manager of an Apple retailer using a competitor's software that's not only outdated, it's outclassed, overused, and outperformed by Apple's very own Keynote.

For closet geek
I made it myself out of an image made by an AG forum member.
