Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

Took A While

The Soul Sessions
I finally got my hands on The Soul Sessions by Joss Stone a.k.a Joscelyne Stoker, the 17 year old white Brit chick who belts tunes like soul veteran Aretha Franklin. Her rendition of The White Stripes' Fell In Love With A Girl (Boy) shot her right up the ranks of newcomers and streaks ahead of all other established teenage superstars. Who cares if her album is completely devoid of any original material? Her voice is too amazing to ignore.

Her second album, released in about a week, this time completely devoid of covers, was co written by her and her team. The single You Had Me from the new album titled Mind, Body, and Soul is the perfect start for the launch and she did a good job in transplanting the music from Swing Out Sister's Am I The Same Girl on her other single, Don't Cha Wanna Ride.

Can't wait for the album.
