Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

There's no stopping Apple

Apple just released iTunes 4.8.

Also, new iTunes Music Stores are open in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Again, Australia & new Zealand miss out due to some overzealous South Pacific division of a record label that refuses to sign with Apple.

In the new iTunes, you can organize your movies, video clips, etc and you can play full screen video without having to pay US$30 for QuickTime Pro. You can now also synchronize your calendar and contacts with your iPod through iTunes (option only available when you connect your iPod) Way to go Apple!

Now I'm left with plenty of questions.

They could've made a separate video jukebox software but they went with iTunes, why? Convergence is the only answer I can think of.
Are they trying to make iTunes a full scale multimedia entertainment center?
Is iPod video coming out soon?
Is the name iTunes relevant to this new hybrid jukebox?
Other than the movie trailers and video clips that you can watch for free on iTMS, will Apple allow movie purchases through the iTMS?
If they are, will it be streaming video, complete downloads or time limited rentals?

Looks like the Tiger review is delayed indefinitely. I'm up to my neck on assignments and a month away from exams.
