Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

Run for your lives! It's 4 more years of Dumbya

Expect a deluge of new Canadians in the next four years.

Americans have swamped the Canadian immigration website following the victory of President Bush over democratic candidate John F. Kerry in this year's election. Left-leaning Canada seems to be a more attractive place to live in for many American democrats after 51% of the country decided that the USA will embrace right wing policies and attitudes, at least until the next election rolls around in 2008.

While Canada, desperate to expand population, is targeting a large number of immigrants for 2005, officials say no preferential treatment will be given to applications with stories of disenchanted voters. Only applicants married to Canadians and skilled worker applicants are given priority, as it has always been.

This follows a report on CNN this morning that a number of American celebrities (most of which are leftists or democrats) are considering a move overseas to Europe, especially those who already own a place of residence there.

Speaking of Bush victory, one amusing outcome of the US elections is a website set up by democrats dedicated to apologizing to the world for failing to limit the Bush Jr. administration to just one term. The Sorry Everybody website hosts a growing picture gallery of people (and a couple of Pandas) with personal signs expressing their sorrrow and regret for what happened. Within days of going online, it has received hundreds of submissions, some of which are unpublished hate mail from people from the republican half of the country.
