iBook update
Apple Center called. They want me to fork over $340 to fix that old iBook. Breakdown? $15 for a reed switch, $65 for an inverter board, and get this, $260 for a two hour labor. I know enough to pull apart an iBook and put it back together in good working order thanks!!! Jeezus, maybe I should get a job there or something. I can't say no cuz they already pulled it apart when trying to find out the problem and would charge me anyhow. Big MEH. If only it was a faulty logic board, it'd be free. Apple has a repair program for bad boards and would gladly replace it at no charge
