Sunny Side Up

Dude, seriously, geek.

Australia bombed

In yet another display of how the US military view its allies, a USMC F/A-18 bomber dropped a 500 pound laser guided bomb near a weapons range control tower near Katherine, NT, early this morning local time, destroying Australian military facilities. I'm sure people still remember how a US F-16 dropped two bombs on a group of Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan back in 2002.

As my brother said this morning, "marines should stick to dirt and water".

I like this part

"Things like this will always happen; we hope not very frequently and we hope not any more dangerously," Prime Minister John Howard told Melbourne Radio 3AW. "But the idea that you can conduct any kind of military exercise without some kind of potential for mishap is unrealistic."
