British Catholic bishops say that the Bible lies and that people shouldn't believe everything in it.
If the bishops dared to say the Bible isn't entirely true, what the hell are Catholics supposed to believe??? We'll see how the Vatican responds to this in a few days.

Actually many of the 'born again christian' churches i.e. Jehova's Witnesses, Baptists etc... take a much more literal reading of the bible than modern Catholics.
Jehova's Witnesses actually believe in the bible as an ABSOLUTELY LITERAL accounting of history. My only response to that is... WTF?!?!?!!
